Well, the big announcement came on Wednesday that Harry and Megan had gone for a fresh and modern cake, rather than the old school fruit cake covered in white icing, they went for a delicious flavour, elderflower and Lemon. Much more modern and reflective more of todays ‘normal’ couples I think!! I must admit I do love a bit of fruitcake at a wedding, perhaps one tier of it, as it goes SO WELL with a cheese selection, but it’s nice to have some different flavour options to choose from.
I had the pleasure of creating a delicious elderflower and Lemon Drizzle cake for This Morning with Philip and Holly in the kitchen, it was super fun, we used some edible flowers to decorate it and Holly said it was the best cake she had tasted : )
